The technology arm of one of Brazil's largest banks trusts Redsis with manufacturer-level ATM repair
An exclusive repair and spare-parts contract puts Redsis on the same footing as the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs): we repair the bank's self-service fleet, engineer repair processes for next-generation equipment and keep units in service.

The client
The client is the technology and services company of one of Brazil's largest banks — the country's largest public-sector bank by assets, with more than R$ 2.4 trillion in total assets at year-end 2024. Among other responsibilities, this subsidiary keeps the bank's self-service infrastructure running for millions of customers nationwide.
Brazilian banking is among the most digital in the world, yet the ATM remains a critical channel: Brazilians made 3.6 billion ATM transactions in 2024, according to the Febraban Banking Technology Survey. Every unit that goes down is a point of service that stops serving — and a customer who goes somewhere else.
The challenge
A large, mixed ATM fleet needs more than break-fix maintenance. These machines combine precision mechanics, power electronics, physical security and, increasingly, intelligent components. To sustain availability, the bank needed a partner that could:
- Repair at the component level, not just swap entire modules.
- Secure spare-parts supply across multiple equipment generations.
- Build repair processes for new technologies before the market has an established practice.
- Meet manufacturer-equivalent standards for quality, testing and traceability.
Scope
Repair
ATMs and peripherals
Cash recyclers and dispensers, their peripherals, power supplies, motherboards and touchscreen monitors.
Security & new tech
Next-generation equipment
AI-enabled cameras, electronic locks and security fog generators.
The solution
Redsis's Technical Services Division works inside the bank as a manufacturer-level partner: it holds the same standing as the OEMs, backed by an exclusive contract for repairs and spare-parts supply. In practice, units and components pulled from the field go through our diagnosis, repair and testing process before returning to the fleet.
Beyond repair, our engineering team develops new technologies and designs repair processes for next-generation equipment. When the bank adopts a new component — an AI camera or an electronic lock, for example — there is already a path to keep it in service throughout its life cycle.
